New Day

With the intent of attending medical school, God abruptly called Carrie into music ministry during her senior year of high school. Through the course of the past five years, Carrie has attended Bible College and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology; led worship for the Women’s Ministry at her church in New Port Richey, Florida, Calvary Chapel Worship Center, and been involved with countless other organizations and ministries. Carrie freely embraces her journey into the Christian music industry. “They called Joseph crazy for being a dreamer but he kept on, everyone thought Noah was out of his mind but he kept on, they thought King David was too small, Moses couldn’t talk, Abraham was too old, Hannah was naive and the apostle Paul wasn’t good enough. Yet all of these people kept on. They walked in obedience and faithfulness no matter what it cost them. I want to be like that. At the end of my life it won’t matter how many CDs I sold. It won’t matter how many charting hits I had. The only thing that will matter is whether or not I was obedient. I just want God to have His way in my life, end of story.”

_Dream On_ is a collection of ten songs, all of which were written or co-written by Pettit. The project features collaborations with producer Brian Hardin and recording artist Paul Alan, in addition to a duet with CCM artist Andrew Carlton on _Life of Faith_. Her current single, _Dream On_, is in wide release as of Feb 27. This summer, Pettit will open the Revolution Music tour with Jill Parr and Farewell June
