Who loves me? Who needs me? What is the point of my life? Many women feel insecure and suffer from low self-esteem. Personal happiness, fulfilling relationships and a sense of achievement seem illusive. In this series of eight studies for personal or group use, Jeannette Barwick and Catherine Butcher help women bridge the gap to become secure women in our insecure world, purposeful women who know they are unconditionally loved and hightly valued. The studies start by looking at the unsuccessful routes women take to find security. A better job, romance, a beautiful body, lavish surroundings, fashionable clothes, even being spiritual or helping others, can fail to give real security. Jeannette and Catherine point to the lasting security found in a realtionship with God. Using examples of women in the Bible and women today, they offer practical steps to help women find a clear sense of purpose and to know they are loved and valued.
