Both First and Second Thessalonians are Eschatological Epistles, they concern the last things, the end of days. We see in them the final vindication of the Christian faith. It moves to a victorious and triumphant conclusion in the Second Advent of Christ. Every eye shall see him, when Christ comes to be glorified in his saints. He came once as a dishonored and despised man. In his Second Advent he shall come in power and wondrous glory.The Rev. Martin A. Recio served 30 years in the pastoral office. His degrees include a BA in history from Northwestern College, a BD from San Francisco Theological Seminary, and a JD from Lincoln Law School, Sacramento, California.
