Among Pope Francis's most important legacies for the church is his desire to set the church on a synodal path--one much less defined from the top, but by the participation of all members of the people of God. It represents a spirit of collaboration and openness between bishops and laity around the world. Next year will conclude a two year process, Synod 2021-23: For a Synodal Church. This book consists of Pope Francis's principal reflections on this theme.
